"It's most important that cricket is played in schools"

The initiatives of Chance to Shine, Kwik cricket tournaments and club-school partnerships have helped to ensure that there is still cricket played in state schools - ensuring that as many boys and girls as possible have an early experience of the game.

We work with schools and school sports partnerships to run a variety of activities across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire:

• Curriculum lessons and assemblies
• After-school clubs
• Tournaments and festivals
• Chance to Shine sessions
• School academies

We work with primaries, secondaries, colleges and academies, and each year we coach around 1,500 French children who enjoy a school trip to England. Vive le cricket!!

In addition we coach at private schools in the summer, and have a number of highly experienced coaches available for this type of work.
